Monster Hunter Freedom 2 review
I bought this game because a buddy of mine played it all the time. and he got stuck so told me to get it and we can link our PSP's together and play as a team. Just like 2 player Co-op. Once we did that the game became even more fun.

i hate the tigrex
I'll start out by saying, if you are easily frustrated...do not play this game, you will wind up breaking your psp and angry the rest of the day.

Yes the game is easy in most areas once you learn how or what the monsters do......But when you get to the G level quests it really doesn't matter how well you know what they will do, it really matters on skill and patience, for one hit can kill you.

What the game will do is set you up for failure, for instance:
You come into a zone with a monster and it see's you; you cower in fear, which could very well result in you getting hit.... I would like to call this combo number 1. There are other such combos in the game that will surely anger you so be sure to be prepared.

All and all this game is a very challenging game.

4 Stars
Monster hunter Freedom 2 is a game of skill, not button mashing, and achievements. To summarize your pretty much a an assasin/gladiator, except instead of trying to kill people, you kill monsters. I love this game, it's so much fun ONCE YOU GET INTO IT (which unfortunately took me about 10 hours to start fulling enjoying the game). Eventually, you'll understand the strategy behind killing monsters, and you'll start looking forward to doing farming. You have alot of motivation to play this game because you become truly proud and satisfied once you defeat a monster that has slaughtered you so many times before, your so happy as you run around your farm fishing mining picking mushroom and catching bugs. And your of course very excited to obtain the items needed to upgrade and invent new armor and weapons, however that's all the game is good for. The farm becomes and dedioues chore when you haven't accomplished anything big, and it just involves alot of clicking and waiting, bery repititious. Also, your dream weapong is about 20 hours away, the weapon that you master and you want to invent is very hard to obtain the parts. However, i'm not one who can go online,so i'm sure the friends you make who are further in the game can help you out. My last complaint is the difficulty, it becomes so hard, and i'm experienced, i've played about sisxty hours. I can't beat certain monsters, and I've been perseverent with killing the monsters before them, but the efoort that continouly increases just becomes impossible. However, if you can go online, I've heard there's always people online so with the help of three other people, i'm sure the tasks are do-able, but by yourself... yeah right. Anyways, if you have wireless interent and like games online, this is probably the best game for that, but without the help of random strangers, it's only a 3 and a half star.

Great Seller :)
My package came fast and in perfect condition this is a very good seller and honest thank you for my package

50+ hours into MHF2
Im finally over 50 hours into Monster Hunter Freedom 2, W00T, and im still havin fun, lol. This game is the perfect rpg and i cant get away from it now hearing that theres an expansion comin out this spring.
Anyway, im organizing my review into two lists of pros and cons.

Pros
-The game is massive and endlessly replayable, giving role-players hundreds of hours of gameplay
-The graphics are AMAZING
-great combat system, enemies are damaged more or less or even not at all depending on where you hit them, and you can knock them down, stun them, even make them run away scared
-Own and build up your own farm to access endless materials, plant seeds/harvest crops, mine rocks, catch fish, catch bugs, (more options, but you have to unlock them)
-about 40-50 monsters to fight ranging in size and strength, from thee mosswine that can be easily 1hit KO-ed to the Elder Dragons that can easily 1hit K0 you
-multiplayer is great, gang up on your enemies, muahaha
-the best action you may ever see, getting beaten to death and eaten by a dragon in an arena duel has never been so fun
-after killing your enemies, carve meat and bones out of them, then use those items and materials gathered from your farm and the field to make your own weapons and armor out them, muahaha
-100s of weps, 100s of equipment sets, 100s of items
-realistic combat, you dont gain levels and exp, you train by learning better fighting strategies and enemies weaknesses, and makin better armor and weps
-hire felynes to cook food for you (although you can cook too)
-the game is mind-boggingly big and rumor has it an expansion is coming out spring 2009 (look up Monster Hunter Freedom Unite)

Cons (finally)
-like all great rpgs, the game starts off so slow you may be tempted to leave it (Elder Scrolls 4 anyone???)
-You are going to die!...the boss monsters are hard, there hp and power are massive, but try not to be discouraged, if you keep making better weps and armor, and keep practicing to learn their weaknesses, youll eventually be the one owning them
-the camera might not be liked by some, i personally love it, it does not move automatically, you have to move it yourself, even during fights
-the controls might be difficult to get used to, i still sometimes mess it up, its really only because theres so many things you can do its hard to fit it all into the PSP's controls, but Capcom did an okay job with it (id make one or two small changes)

thats everything i can think of, theres still so much more of the game i havent reached yet, im just over 50 hours into it and had a rough start, im like a noob in this game, but anyway, i have some Cephaloths to kill so i can upgrade a wep so Peace Out

Nice recharge station
When i got this i charged up my batteries and played. Looks super nice next to the 360, charge's 'em rather quick and they last a good while. Def buy if you've got battery packs. Worth the money.

Works just as intended
The battery works just as it should, just plug, charge and play, and last the amount of hours they say it would, worth buying it.

Environmentally Friends and Saves $$$$
Why bother buying batteries on a regular basis when you can re-charge this one and use it for a LONG time. Regular batteries hurt the environment...and in all will cost you a LOT more then this re-chargeable battery over time.

We have had these in all of our XBox controllers forever and they dont seem to be losing charge at all. I have taught the kids to wait for the battery to completely die out before recharging it...that is what makes the difference. Dont plug them in after 20-30 minutes of use....wait until they are dead and you will get a very long life.

I do recommend buying a charging station so you can always have a couple of spare batteries charging.....this will avoid the frustration of having a dead battery when you really need to GAME!

Great price and shipping at AMAZON...cant complain.

Must have for xbox 360 owner
A must have for xbox 360 owner. Enough to play couple hours a date, quick recharge. This work best with recharge station.

Long lasting batteries.
Not much I can say other than, these batteries are long lasting.

The reason why I bought these black ones is because every one of my neighbors have white controllers with white batteries, they would come home and play with my kids, next think I know, my batteries are gone, at least now I can tell who took them! ha ha!

great family entertainment
bought this as a christmas gift for my children. provides hours of uninterupted entertainment. great product, great price!

Cool Karaoke Game!
This one is more fun than the 1st version, 'cause most of the lyrics are easy to sing than the 1st one. I enjoy the time of singing and it's really helpful in some of my party. Pretty cool game[...]

Rockin American Idol
I bought this as a gift for my brother, who is in his 30's. We played it for the first time with our parents and had a ball! Hours of family fun.
Even for me and I can't carry a tune in a bucket. Our parents were not as familiar with all the songs on this version, but there was enough of a selection to keep them in the game. You need to have your own microphone. (We had to go purchase one.) Overall, we had a great time and would all reccommend it. My brother says he plays it constantly and thinks he is the AMERICAN IDOL...

You CAN BE an American Idol
This latest installment of the Karaoke Revolution is the same mix of easy and hard skill levels to satisfy all Potential Idols, but now we get to hear Paula give her review of your performance as well! (Even though she seems to say the same things "Laura" from the first ' Idol game said).
Overall, this is a fun experience for the whole family!

So much fun!
I just bought this game and the 1st AI game. I don't have any other Karaoke Rev or Singstar games. I LOVE this game. It is so much fun. It's nice how you can change the mix so you can adjust the volumes of the track vocals, music, microphone, etc. and turn up the vocals on the track so it's more like singing along on the radio (for people like me who aren't very good). I LOVE LOVE this game.

Game came broken
My son really wanted this game. Waited anxiously for daily mail. The game came with a large crack in it. Obviously, sent to us that way, not broken in transit. I emailed the seller twice with no response. I am out a few bucks, my son is sad and I would never buy from this seller again.
I have purchased about 10 items from amazon all others met or exceeded my expectations - from games, to videos and books!!

Walk!?That wasn't part of the deal!
This is the best simpsons game by far with all the references, humor and fun you expect in a game. This game is like simpsons GTA.Instead of killing people with guns you kick people with the mighty boot. When you hit someone with a car the go flying in the air.It has funny dialogue and some crazy missions. There is plenty to do between the side missions, gags, finding collector's cards, and the main mission itself. What I like is how you can drive or walk depending on how you feel. All the key places are here like the Kwik-E-Mart,Power Plant,Church, and all the other places. The voice acting is great with all the cast members in the game.Vehicle designs and stats make sense and are cool. You play as Marge,Lisa,Apu,Bart, and Homer.Sadly it's time to go to the cons. The missions are far to repeditive.Collect these items, destroy that car, race this guy, beat the clock. Those are pretty much the missions you do.Also The levels are repeditive.7 levels 3 environments.Granted they change a little each time but still. My final complaint is that it goes from easy to hard in the blink of an eye.Don't let the cons turn you away from this fantastic game though.

The Simpsons Hit & Run PS2 game very good game!
I rented this game from the library a while back I really enjoyed it I'm going to buy it. Buy this game you'll really like it. It's really fun and not to hard at all.

Greatest Video Game Ever!
It was explained enough in previous reviews. I just wanna add that it is actually teh greatest video game ever made! If youre a true fan of the Simpsons or video games its a must have!

Slight improvement
This game was rather fun, but was simple to gather money to purchase things. All you had to do was hunt down the Wasp Cameras and smash boxes. With the right code you could smash and blow up cars but then you trigger a Hit and Run which the music is annoying, sounds like a 70's cop chase. The levels had their difficulty but in the end, if you beat it, it has a pretty funny ending. It was more of a search and find items type of game, you go around collecting cards and unlocking vehicles and when you beat it, it isnt worth playing again. The downside to it, is when you collect each card you unlock a mini game which is what it says... you choose your character and your vehicle and drive around a tiny track in a tiny car, the steering sucks and really was pointless to add it in the first place.

Ever dream of being a man eating shark and repeatedly terrorizing tourists and commercial fisherman?
Jaws is a very surprising game. Within the package is a mixed bag of excellent animations and graphics for Jaws with some very low res and low poly graphics for the humans and other targets. The gameplay similarly follows this trend some nice and some really bad features, notably easy to control mechanics and straight forward missions like "kill the lifeguards" with more head scratching objectives involving a FPS favorite -exploding barrels-.

Jaws has a surprisingly fresh and unique story where you take the role of the man eating lone wolf master of the ocean. At the outset you are eating people, fish, head butting and generally wreaking havoc. Once you are done with the intro you get captured and the real game starts.

The story also begins to unfold, a semi charming tale of corrupt corporate greed and environmental ruin.

Who can save the ocean from corporate greed, pollution and the generally filthy and degrading habits of humans? Why the original man eating movie star, Jaws!.

Surprisingly its the story and missions which keep this game going. If not for the objectives and cutscenes, the game would be a mindless killing affair.

Despite the highly unrealistic premise of a giant fish rallying against Big Oil and pollution moguls, it is just that story that gives you a reason to be interested in Jaws.

This story is wrapped around a simple game mechanic of eating, getting hungry or damaged, and eating again to restore health. It can be quick fun to ignore side missions and story missions and simply rampage and kill jet skiers, swimmers, fisherman, kayackers, water skiers etc... but without the story these actions can start to feel very samey.

The story is what drives you to different locations, day/night, settings and objectives. Inside a "sea world" type park, roaming the beachfront, or existing in suspiciously sterile man made environments, these are your interlocking playgrounds of blood.

Toss in a very light RPG feature of upgrading stats and "moves" , the developers have taken the budget game to the next level.

A great license, some diligent varied mission design saves the game from what could have been a complete disaster. From noshing on life guards to destroying environmentally unsound commercial fishing boats, the game really has you doing a bit of everything. Even the dreaded "find a key card to open lock" generic missions.

Pros
- Great sense of speed and destruction with Jaws
- Lots of missions and side missions to keep busy
- Over the top bloody humor
- Kill humans, destroy piers, sink boats, battle Orcas, other sharks, squid
- Humorous and well done "story" mode
- lots of hidden collectibles
- constant challenge to stay alive
- lots of "moves" snap things in half, play baseball w/ your power tail
- Find a key card? A shark w/ a key card? Actually a quite funny solution to the challenge

Cons
- While jaws looks and moves great, the rest of the graphics suffer from
-- Very short/poor draw distance
-- fogging ....underwater?
-- Low def human graphics
-- Camera gets in the way often
-- lots of little glitches, like clipping, control issues
-- Stealth attack not very stealthy
-- Annoying respawning enemies like "feed inducing" underwater robots
-- sometimes opaque solutions to mission objectives
-- Control issues can cause some side missions to be frustrating
-- Since when did sharks become sentient and aware of corporate greed?
-- Laughably simple human AI
-- piranhas are very annoying
-- not nearly enough boss and mini boss types

boring after a few minutes, repetitive, glitches...
Not as shhort as these reviwers will make you think ("it's SOOOO short", YEAH RIGHT), very bloody and gory, you can tear people apart into little pieces and then eat them, The camera sucks at times, graphics are pretty good but could've been better, Worth the used & new price but don't buy this new. Honestly, it's not what it was hyped uo to be: at times you will want to play this so damn bad, you'd give money to play it, but then after 15/20 minutes you'd be like "Damn did i really ever want to play this" because it gets so boring and repetitive. All that's fun is freestyle but when there's only 10 different kind of boats in the whole ocean and each boat has a maximum of 2(count) people, and the people say the same lines OVER AND OVER it does get boring pretty quickly.

the m rating does deserve to be here however since jaws is a shark and sharks naturally eat people this game should be okay for anyone 14 and older. It is gory but it's not like Grand theft Auto where you just go and kill random people for no reason (PARENTS)

buy it used if you can.

not terrible, but i'd recommend that if you were to get the choice of any 1 game for free, Choose another.

Jaws Unleashed not for Australia!
It would probably be a good product but it can't be played in Australia. Had to return the game.

okay
Got this for my nephew, he seems to like it pretty well. If you don't want your child playing anything with a lot of blood, don't get this one.

This game was so & so
Well, I am a big Jaws fan. They made 4 movies of it. Jaws, Jaws 2, Jaws 3, Jaws the Revenge which I guess is Jaws 4. There was already a Jaws game for NES where you're the human, I guess Cheif Brody, trying to kill the shark. Then when I heard a new Jaws game was coming out for PS2, XBOX, & PC I ran out and bought it the first day it came out, and I was really excited when I heard you could be the shark eating the humans. But, I shouldn't have gottin too exicted because this game was kinda weird. I knew this game had nothing to do with the first one, while the NES version was. This game took place during the 3rd movie. But back to the game. The control was kinda ockward. I mean move the analog stick up,the shrak goes down. R1 or L1 is to bite, I havn't played it in a while, so I guess L1 & R1 is original for doing soemthing like that. The blood & gore gave me a good feeling. And I like destroying boats. Well, I havn't gotin that far in the game. I saw a video on Gamespot.com where the shark rips this Killer Whale in half. I wanted to get that far but I couldn't. I'm stuck on the part where you're in that aqurium. Well, that's all I have to say about this game. I wouldn't play the game if I were you, honestly, but go see the movies if you didn't already. It's a little bloody but it will give you a good feeling after watching it. Or you could have nightmares for a few weeks.

This is exactly what I ordered, and was received in good time. I would purchase again.

Don't Understand
I do not get the game at all....very hard us control players....just did not like these games at all.....the kids though they love it.

oops wrong country
I know that these games are awesome, being a big Resident Evil fan I have played these games before (hired them from the local video shop, but I was unable to play the games due to different country compatibility, so if you're outside the US and buying PS games make sure you check the region coding first.
Excellent, prompt delivery and safely packaged. Thank you for Amazon's return policy otherwise I would have been stuck with games I couldn't play. Very satisfied customer.

I see Outbreak...but not file #2
This is the first review I am writing up. I'll try to stay focus and not ramble on. I have been playing the RE series since the first one was introduced on the original playstation. Yes, the controls are horrible and not very user friendly on Outbreak and Code: Veronica. Yes, the plots in these games aren't very developed if you haven't really been following the series. The only thing I really want to point out is that Outbreak doesn't have online functionality.

RE4 feels too much like an action movie and took out the whole puzzle element of the game. Change is good, but I still prefer getting frustrated over a puzzle that will make me feel smarter once I figure it out on my own. But that is just me. When I first started playing the RE, the controls did irritate me. I felt like I was maneuvering a crane. I can understand that the learning curve can be overwhelming to some people.

I currently own Code: Veronica and Outbreak. The first time I play Veronica was on Dreamcast and realized Capcom wasn't going to change their pattern as far as controls are concern. RE4 doesn't really appeal to me. Mostly due to the fact that Capcom decided to send this installment into another direction. I became so accustomed to the zombie bashing, freakishly scary bosses, puzzles, and anything else that kept my attention.

Yes, the perfect co-op shooter
I wanted a good co-op shooter and after playing many other games ( and being very disappointed by some...) finally decided to give this one a try with a friend. We each bought a copy and were worried we'd be regretting it.... that worry was gone after a couple of minutes of gameplay! It's a great game! The most fun co-op we've ever played and the multiplayer is great too. Very surprised! Can't believe the price, it's a steal for such an incredible game! Highly recommended!

Good Rainbow game
I have heard a lot of conflicting stories about this game but I have found it to be quite an enjoyable addition to the Rainbow family. It is certainly much better than the first Las Vegas edition of the game. I could never get that one to run properly, LV2 runs quite well on my low end machine after tweaking the video settings. In this game, health is renewable but getting out of the line of fire for a short perion of time. It also allows the pick up of different weapons during play and there are "equipment" bins throughout the levels where you can completely rearm. In addition to the story method of play there is also the terrorist hunt method which provides short games using selectable game maps but can be quite difficult. Throughout the game the player accumulates experience points which unlocks new weapons, armor, etc.

This to me is a much more versatile version of the rainbow series and is a lot of fun to play. The graphics are good, sound is good and there is a large selection of weapons to use. A bit of thinking and strategy is required to really win at this game. Blindly running around and shooting everything you see is not a way to win. Like all FPS games, the player is basically trying to shoot all the bad guys without getting shot himself. But the team members and the necessary strategy to win makes this one a cut above most shooter. Very enjoyable.

Great game
This is one excelent game! graphics are decent and its good being able to have an easy to control computer team.
Long story line sure to challenge all levels of players. The realistic setting is just that. very easy to lose from even one mistake.
Lots of replayability on terrorist hunt and i love CO-op games.

Playable without cheating.
Although hard in some places, the game is fun, the graphics are good, and you have to think strategy to win. Will play again.

Nice sequel to a great game.
I liked this game the moment I began playing. I can't put it down, I keep trying to play other games, but I come back to this one.

FUN game but only for more than a person
its a fun game . i ordered this one in a mistake. i though it was for PS3 but it was for PS2. then i returned it and got the PS3 one ,,, and its a very fun game but not recommended to play it alone.

Great Game
Really interesting

like the one before but with more dribble, and recquire more precision when shouting or giving the ball to another player.

really cool game.

For beginners. You'd better play on beginner mode first...

I love this series
Whatever they want to call it, PES, World Soccer, whatever, year in and year out Konami & Seabass make a killer true football game.

This is their hardest edition to date. Normally I start at the Normal Master League level & work up from there, but I am still sledding on Amateur & it is really going to take a while for me to move up. The AI is superb, just difficult enough to make it truly thrilling sometimes to score goals. What sets PES apart from its competitors is the difficult gameplay that can be broken down thru smarts, savviness, and timing (& sometimes a little luck.) It does not need flashy trick moves, & crazy multiple, simultaneous button mashing to get a great, honest result against a superior side.

Years from now young gamemakers will marvel at Seabass' amazing series of games for Konami.

I could care less about the licensing stuff. The funny names and odd kits add charm to the experience. True football fans know what the teams are, and who plays for them.

It is nice to see FC Basel, at last, though, (although it is about 5 years since their incredible Champion's League Cup run.)

Good, not the best one, but good
The best edition of PES is Winning Eleven 8. Since then, no version has featured any goods as that one. All teams licensed, classic players like Maradona and Pele, not having to deal with freaky names and ugly outfits. PES 2008 is actually an improved version of Winning Eleven 10, which was sold only in Japan. It's basically the same stuff, with MANY not licensed teams, (only two from the Premier League which is actually the best league these days) no Bundesliga, and a very weird look of the outfits and logos when You edit them. The menus are also less usable and uglier.

As pros You could say that the brand new World Tour mode is pretty challenging. It really takes you away from the bothering of playing against a Germany National team where Ballack is something like "wayack". The world tour combines the basic challenges of playing a football match with additional tasks you have to achieve if you want to go through: such as "score two goals with different players" "win and score one goal with a replacement player", etc. It's pretty good, sometimes the match begins at the additional time so you have less time than usual to make the task. Sort of a combination of PES and Risk.

The best PES game is Winning Eleven 8, even though today it won't be up to date about who is playing where, you always can make the teams your own way. The only thing I highlight about PES2008 is the World Tour mode. If you happen to have WE 10, the japanese one, do not get this one because you're gonna get the same thing with another interface. As I did actually.

Awesome!
Just aweseome, me and my buddies have been playing this game for ages. Regarding this version, it is excellent for my PS2.

However, I noticed that sometimes, only sometimes, during a match, it hangs for a second or two. I am not quite sure what is the cause of this. Offcourse this is awefully annoying when you are ready to strike the ball at your opponent's goal.
