I love this product! The scent isn't for everyone but I find it very invigorating in the morning! And my hair looks great - my stylist even asked me what I was using :-)

Can't Be Without It
Like a lot of other reviewers of Wen products, I've been moaning and complaining about the cost of this product line. Well, let me tell you how I finally learned my lesson:

I'd been using this haircare line for about 6 months. I had started with the combo offered in the infomercial & moved onto the Tea Tree about 4 months ago, after reading reviews that it is the best "flavor" for my hair type (very dry hair with oily/itchy scalp that tends towards dandruff). I've loved Wen since about week 2 with the product due to the following: (a) my scalp issues were resolved, (b) my hair seemed healthier after about a week, (c) I had stretched my last cut & color out to 10 weeks since the color still seemed shiney (I have jet black hair & my color is added only to warm up the tones from a blue-black to a brown/red-black - there isn't that much of a difference between my natural hair color and my color-treated color)& my ends looked fine. However, a few weeks ago, as I neared the bottom of my latest bottle of Wen Tea Tree, I started questioning how incredibly expensive it was after I realized how quickly the bottle had been used...so I didn't order a new bottle before I ran out.

I decided to go back to my old Aveda Color Conserve line in order to save some money. Within 2 days, (a) my itchy scalp was back AND (b) the shine was gone in my hair color, leaving it dull and lifeless looking AND (c) you could see exactly where the new hair growth ended and the color-treated hair began! It was disgusting! I immediately ordered a new bottle of Wen Tea Tree & scheduled a hair appt. I just hope that the Wen gets here by the time my appt comes around...

I guess the bottom line is that you have to consider not only the fact that you get both cleanser & conditioner in one product AND that your hair will look better, but also that you will be able to stretch out the time between cut/color appts. I used to have to go every 6 weeks or so, but could stretch it to about 10 with Wen. Each appt is about 0 for me, so that's how I'm justifying continuing with this product.

Constipation + Sucrose = No, thanks!
You think you're doing something good for your kid when you invest a little more to get an organic formula. Sadly, that's not the case here. This is a horrifically constipating formula...lots of pain and straining, guaranteed. Having to take measures to prevent this (offering juices, water, etc) is just not a sensible approach.

Also, the manufacturers use sucrose instead of lactose to save money, and they use a LOT of it. With the same sweetness as country time lemonade, Similac Organic's sucrose-based formula may also set your child up for future diabetes. Check the NY Times article for more info on this.

Bottom line: painful constipation in the near term, possible diabetes and certainly a sweet tooth in the future...no, thanks!

If you're worried about consitpation....
I purchased this formula but was worried after reading the comments here that my 5 month old baby would suffer from constipation. He did. However, I really wanted to use organic formula so I added a few teaspoons of prunes to his cereal and within 12 hours - problem solved. No constipation since and he has been on this formula for about 2 weeks. I give him some prune/cereal every 4 days. If your baby is not yet on solids you might consider giving him a little apple or pear juice mixed with water. This should do the trick also. Don't let the constipation issue scare you off.

we switched from the advance similac to the organic product thinking it would be better as we prefer organic foods ourselves. it was a disaster with our 2 month old baby getting constipated and progressively worsening her intake till she fell drastically below her calorie intake. we discontinued the product within five days and switched back to the previous similac and she is fine now. her feeding and calorie intake is back to normal

It's about time!
As far as I can tell, this is the only organic "ready to feed" formula on the US market (Earth's Best only comes in powder form). It's about time!!!! It's CHEAPER on Amazon than from the Similac online store.

love this product!
I've looked all over for this product. I've used it for years, and didn't know if they discontinued it. When I found it, I got 3 tubes of it. It works so good for my thin limp hair. Just a dab through wet hair, before drying, or even on dry hair after styling. Your hair will not feel gummy or stiff after. And it holds curl and style beautifully.

This works for me
I have wavy short hair, and I need a product that (1) holds my hair generally in place while it air dries (or if I dry it--rarely); (2) doesn't smell strongly like "hair product" (this has a mild, pleasant scent that dissipates quickly, so I can smell like my own choice in cologne--or like nothing at all); and (3) doesn't feel sticky after it dries. This product meets all three criteria.

NEED A LOT OF SHAKING
I think is better to buy the one with the milk already mixed.

More than just a shake--a fast way to an improved body
Okay--if you want to make these shakes really work for you, you have to use them with a vigorous work-out. They go well with the "Body for Life" workout (the same guy created both), which is a simple 45-minute workout, 3 times a week. It hurts at first, but it's well worth it.

The results are amazing. A friend got me into it, and in 6 weeks, I had a body that was better than any I had obtained in my whole life--lean with well-defined muscles and vastly improved strength and endurance. The shakes are CRUCIAL. They make a very noticable difference in the work-out, with more sustained energy and much faster recovery time. It's the difference from feeling drained after a work-out or feeling envigorated--no joke. I let a friend try one of my shakes and her reaction after her first workout was--WOW! I feel like I was on steroids! Hempz is great!
I've used Hempz for years. Any other moisturizer turns my skin red. Not Hempz! Also great as a body lotion.

Great Product
This lotion is great! It smells like the typical tanning lotion..a coconutty smell...but it smells good. If i go tanning then don't have enough time to shower I dont feel as if i smell bad...

DONT purchase it from a tanning salon..u'll pay double the price! I have a nice tan and i've only been in a tanning bed a few times...this def accelerated the tanning process!

Great tan, bad smell
This product is great for getting a nice deep tan, but the smell leaves a lot to be desired. It really does give a nice tan and leaves my skin feeling soft. Delivery was great too. I received it 2 days after ordering.

Favorite Tanning Lotion
I work at a tanning salon and I don't buy their lotions because I love this one so much. I don't like self tanners because of the smell, but this smells like oatmeal and honey lotion. I can put it on as a regular lotion for a color boost when I haven't tanned in awhile or to use prior to tanning. My second favorite lotion is Swedish Beauty Denim and Diamonds. Love both because they don't leave you orange(even on dry areas such as knees and ankles), moisturize well, reasonable price, and great, light scent. I typically wash the bottoms of my hands and wrists and between my fingers so it appears more natural, but when I don't have the chance to it's still okay (I just wouldn't make it a habit incase of buildup). Love it, buy it.
