Customer Reviews

The Best I've tried so far.
I have tried about a half-dozen of these over the past three years, and the Myoplex has the best flavor and does the best at satiating my body.
The Amazon monthly price is attractive too.

Myoplex
This is a great product, I liked the way it taste and the versatility of the different things you can add to it to make it taste even better. I think it's a very healthy drink and it curbs your appetite for a good while. It's great when you are in a hurry and can't fix a meal. I would recommend it to others.

Good Stuff
I usually blend in some fruit, water and ice into my Myoplex. It makes a thick tasty shake and gives me the energy I need for my workouts. It is satisfies my hunger but doesn't weigh me down.

great product
I love this drink. I put it in a blender and add bananas and ice (to make it cold like a milk shake) or any other fruit and even peanut butter. You can have twice as many drinks if you make them not quite as thick (use half a packet). I get the vanilla and add chocolate to make a chocolate drink. I make mine with plain soy milk (lactose intolerent). It tastes great and is low fat, low calorie and fills you up.

Amazon.com Product Description:
When it comes to music and rhythm games, Wii Music stands in a class of its own. Unlike other music games, which penalize players if they don't play perfectly, Wii Music is a musical playground where there are no mistakes. Here anyone can pick up and master the huge array of instruments available, through simple motions like strumming and drumming. Musicians in your band jam by simply playing their instruments to the beat of a song or by improvising to their heart's content. Play faster. Play slower. Skip a beat, or throw in 10 more. No matter what you do, Wii Music automatically transforms your improv stylings into great music.

Your music, your way

         Simple pickup and playability.
View larger.

Easy controls and learning curve.
View larger.

Huge array of diverse instruments.
View larger.

Make music by yourself.
View larger.

Or with up to 3 friends.
View larger.

    Gameplay: Getting Your Band Together
In Wii Music every band has six members: Two play the main melody, two cover the percussion beats, one covers the bass groove and one uses the song's chords to support the melody. As a band, the six members often play their special parts at the same time, though each player can jam however and whenever he or she wants. Play all at once. Take turns in the spotlight. Pair up in creative ways throughout the song. You can bring the band to life by yourself, playing one part at a time-or with up to four players. See game mode below:

Solo Play: When you play by yourself, you can add one part at a time to arrange the whole song exactly how you want. The Tutes are on hand to back up your band in any parts you need filled.

Multiplayer: When in a band with friends, up to four people can be band members.

Wii Friends: Using WiiConnect24, you can send your jam videos to Wii Friends who own Wii Music. They can then watch your performance, modify it to their liking and send their jam videos back to you.

Tutes: Your Own Private Back-up Band
When not playing with friends, you can invite jam masters known as Tutes to play with you. They'll join a session playing an instrument that each thinks is strong for a specific song. You can simply enjoy the musical camaraderie, or pick up instrument tips by watching them jam. If you choose to watch, the Tutes will show you lots of techniques for many of these instruments, then ask you to follow their examples. They'll start with the simplest techniques, then as you master each one, show you even more nuanced ones.
Key Game Features:

Easy to Play Improv Jams - All members of your band jam by simply playing their instruments to the beat of a song or by improvising to their heart's content. Play faster. Play slower. Skip a beat, or throw in 10 more. Wii Music challenges you to transform your improv stylings into great music. There are no mistakes and no game scores-just playing for the pure joy of playing.

Wii Controls Immerse You in the Music - You can play most of the 60-plus instruments in Wii Music using simple motions with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. Strum to play guitar, banjo and sitar. Drum to play jazz drums, congas and snare drums. Hammer away to play piano, vibraphone and marimba. Unlike most music games, Wii Music doesn't make you use many complex buttons. You only need to imitate playing the instrument.

Virtually Endless Ways to Make Music - You choose the song and instruments and decide whether to blaze through a rock take on classical songs, put a jazzy spin on folk tunes or transform Nintendo classics like the Super Mario Bros. theme into Latin-flavored numbers. The song list is only a takeoff point-it's how you improvise with the songs that matters.

Share Your Band Jams With Friends - They'll see your Mii band members, your players' improv styles and your instrument selections. Customer Reviews

Wii Music
Wii music is a great game for people all ages :) it's very fun and entertaining :) you get to play 60 instruments you even get your own virtual band but you have to use the wii board with it :) you get to play all different kinds of songs even christmas songs :) I would recommend this game to people :)

Boring
This is no fun game, and the music there is old. I dont have anything against old music, but I think it should've include both old and new. The only goold thing I found in this game is that my kids learned different kinds of instruments

Good overall for music knowledge
I think the biggest issue people getting this game is they think it's like Guitar Hero or Rock Band. If that's what your looking for then move on, you'll be disappointed. Now if your looking for something that will teach you a little bit about music styles, pitch, instruments, etc, then this is a decent learning tool that can be pretty fun. And if you have a Wii Fit and want to learn a bit of drumming then it will connect with your Fit board to give you foot control of a bass drum and hi hats.

My only complaint of the game is, ironically, there isn't enough music to play with. It would be nice if they had a lot more "modern" songs to play with. Now when you first start there is very little and as you do lessons and games you unlock more and more instruments and songs. This can also be a pain for someone starting off that gets in and can't go play 50 different songs off the bat. But on the flip side if you take the time to actually go through and learn the different music styles you will unlock all the extra stuff. Just would be nice to have a lot more modern songs (Pop/Rock/etc) then the selection in the game. All in all though it's a good game to learn about music and inspire some creativity.

Much better choices out there for your money - what a stinker
WiiMusic would have been great as a WiiWare download or a budget priced disc game. As a full-priced game, when you compare Wii Music to any other Nintendo-produced title, the value just isn't there. When the same amount of money gets you a game like Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime it's hard to swallow this premium-priced game.

Pay careful attention to the commercial - because what you see is what you get. You waggle the remotes around to (mostly) Nintendo tunes. There are more instruments than tunes, so they get tired pretty quickly (especially since not all are available at the start anyway). People say you cannot compare this to other rythum games; a hearty yes to that, even the Hannah Montana game is more complicated than this.

If your family just wants to sit around waggling the remotes around and hearing music come out, I suppose it could be fun. It's more akin to a display in a store or museum where it's a fun distraction for 2-3 minutes but then the novelty wears out.

Do yourself a favor - buy your kid a harmonica or electric keyboard or other small instrument instead. They will be learning how to make real music and not just waving the remote around to marginally impact the music. There are such better buys for your money - I love Nintendo, but this game is a stinker.

Truly fun for whole family
I am married with a 6 and 4 year old and we all enjoy Wii Music. We usually play songs together, my kids really enjoy the variety of instruments and the option to play on beat or not. My 4 year old, who can't really do rhythm games yet, is actually able to participate because the game does what he wants it to, rather than he having to do what it wants him to. My 6 year old prefers to try and get everything just right, and has really gotten into the mini-games. The instrument quality isn't as good as it could be and the song selection would have been better, for me, if there had been more Nintendo themes; but we've been very satisfied and if your family is like ours, the game may work for you too.

Customer Reviews

Worst spawning EVER!!!!
it has the worst online spawning in any fps Ive ever seen!!!
Feels like COD 3.5
Weapons are very inaccurate (I'm aware they are ww2 weapons)
the funny thing is that everybody seemed to be opposed to going back to WW2 except the morons who had the final say stating that they would make a WW2 game like no one had ever done....well, they used the same engine as COD4 (one of the best fps shooters ever made) and...... they #$@%ed it up! HAHAHA. Idiots. They tried to bask in someone Else's glory and they got burned in the process.

As for people who complain about campers........go play Halo. and stay there.

from someone who doesn't play shooters in co-op mode
As someone who's purely a casual gamer with not enough time on my hands to immerse myself in online co-op gaming, I have to say I'm disappointed with the latest installment in the COD franchise. CODMW was very promising. I felt it had a strong story line, and, as a former US Special Forces operative, I thought it pretty accurately depicted modern warfare at least from the weapons and tactics perspective. This felt like a big step backward, not just in terms of the era in which it takes place, but in terms of story and game play. I get to be a Russian sniper... again? I get to storm the Reichstag... again? [Not to mention the fact that Kiefer Sutherland's voice was REALLY distracting-- I kept thinking I was in an episode of 24.] I felt that CODMW set the stage for a wide range of stories and possibilities that just didn't get fulfilled this time out. Hopefully the next game will at least fast-forward to the Vietnam ear or later so we can enjoy some more variety.

Slightly over-rated.
I know I'm going to sound like a negative nelly, but all these other reviews are boasting the "better" parts of the game. I'm simply going to take those parts, and disect them for those unsure whether or not they want to buy this.

First off, the story, while it is a fun run through, the missions basically break down to a really pretty shooting gallery. You move to one point, infinite spawning enemies hide behind cover, and you shoot them one by one as they pop up. The only way to stop this process is by moving up, and it becomes very repetative. Also, the enemies seem to have infinite supplies of grenades, which they throw at you 5 at a time, this can be unusually frustrating on harder difficulties.

As for the Zombie mode everyone is boasting, it's rather bland. It takes place in one small building, and you take on wave after wave of zombies, with your poor selection of WWII weaponry. It's fun a couple times, but becomes repetative even quicker than the main story itself. As for the online play, it's the same as CoD4 but this time with WWII skins and weapons. The level designs are neat, but performance wise, poorly designed. They have the spawn points in the middle of the map, right out in the open. So if the enemies have control of a tank or two, you're about guranteed to spawn into their shells before you can fire a shot off. The guns are semi-auto or bolt action, much weaker, so you'll find yourself emptying a whole clip into someone and still not registering a kill. It's more annoying than fun. I was a diehard CoD4 fan, myself and a few friends went out and bought this game with high hopes, we're already planning on taking it back.

Again, I'm not bashing the game, I'm just pointing out the most painful of the flaws everyone else blindly in love with the game forgot to tell you about. I'm a hardcore CoD fan, and I can't wait for the next installment, this game however, is not the game to keep you occupied until then.

I Loved It For Awhile At Least
I have always been a fan of pretty much anything WWII and this game grabbed me from the start. When I 1st stuck in Call of Duty World at War I was totally blown away by the single player campaign. I found the graphics were awesome and the sound was even better. I felt the music though repeating a lot was well done and it really added to the action when the music got more aggressive during big action sequences. I was totally blown away in the 1st level that takes place at night when all of a sudden there is a flare shot up in the air and a surprise awaits you even though these surprises are not often it was nice. One thing I did notice that the hiding attackers or when someone rushes you it feels kind of overdone so you come to expect it but it was satisfying to rush them. I guess maybe the Japanese attackers were really this aggressive in WWII but even with that said it feels overdone. I also found myself getting blown up by so many grenades and dying that it became very annoying. Something else that annoyed me was enemies coming up behind me or out of my field of vision and giving me a quick death. It kept me on my toes and on edge but even that felt annoying. I did find the AI to rather weak to the point where I killed a room full of people with a knife and one time I ran through a mission with just a flamethrower. The game lacks depth when it comes to story or character development and it would of been nice to actually feel for the characters like BIA Hells Highway. I guess by the amount of content out there a lot of knowledge of WWII exists so people know what WWII was about and Call of Duty games are usually just straight forward war games. I wouldn't say this is as good as when I 1st played Call of Duty 1 or two a few years ago but it still does WWII games justice in my mind.

I really did enjoy this game all the way through its just the second time I went through I began to notice the problems with it. I try to enjoy WWII games b/c one day I believe there will be no more made since the genre is overused so I enjoy them while I can. I really enjoyed Call of Duty 4 and I think I enjoyed this one even more since I guess I like WWII over modern combat. I found the blood effects to add to the gameplay but I am not saying it satisfied me to blow someones brains out or stab someone charging me ,but the overall depth feels better with these extras. I guess my biggest problem is this game doesn't do anything that hasn't already been done.
The problems I ran into like going through the entire campaign in one sitting that took me about six or seven hours b/c I couldn't bring myself to put it down. This was not a good thing since most games I like always have a strong single player experience. Then again WWII games are kind of hard to keep you coming back to single player since you can't really add to the experience you already had. I didn't buy the game for this reason so I rented it. I think this game is a five star rental in a heartbeat but sinking 50 or 60 bucks in another game it just really isn't worth it. If you are more into multiplayer than have at it and buy it but for me its just a rental.

Multiplayer on the other hand was fun while I had the game at least at 1st. I ran through the entire game before trying multiplayer so I already unlocked zombie mode and plus I already had a hang of the controls. I absolutely didn't like deathmatch which I am sure its for some people I just couldn't get into it. For some reason it reminded me more of Counter Strike since its more about who has the quicker trigger finger. Odds are if you get on there with a veteran you will get owned though. Even though I loved Counter Strike I didn't care for this as much. I enjoyed zombie mode most of all for some reason. I liked the idea of being stuck in a house with 3 other people fending off nazi zombies. I grew tired after a while of even this since the gameplay is basically repetitive and if you play with the wrong people you will have it even harder. Co-Op was probably my favorite part be it competitive or campaign co-op. Going along side someone and saving them about time they are gonna get stabbed in the back was a nice feeling. This also goes along with playing with the right people b/c some will try to speed through and usually die. I enjoy games even more when they put co-op campaigns in the mix of multiplayer either online or off. By the time I took the game back I was kind of tired of it but it was fun believe me it just wasn't for me. I couldn't really justify a sixty dollar purchase of the game just for this. I know some people will get a absolute kick out of the multiplayer but it just couldn't keep me. Even though the co-op was nice I guess the variety wasn't really there for me since all the multiplayer modes have already been done and I felt like I had played it before. If you are an absolute multiplayer person with a passion for it I would probably say buy it but if you are picky about what you buy like me than its probably more of a rental. I only own about three or four games all together and usually a game I buy is five star for me after a rental but anything I don't buy is usually less. Though there are plenty of people who love this game it just wasn't for me.

The new shooter template...
Put simply, if you liked COD4, you will like COD:WOW.

As long as you realize ww2 weapons weren't as powerful or had as many bullets as modern weapons, you will be fine. It's not as groundbreaking as COD4 was in terms of multiplayer gameplay and replayability, but at the same time it doesn't need to be since COD4 redefined everything so well for this genre. All the perks and weapon upgrades are here for you to unlock as you level up with some tweaks, the most notable being the dogs you can call in to maim the opposition instead of a deadly chopper.

Singleplayer is also as good as any previous COD, I recommend it especially for ww2 fans as it explores pacific island warfare and eastern front confrontations not given as much pub in previous games. The history is there and the storyline in interesting. Voice acting seems fine with Kiefer Sutherland providing the voice for the head marine. Nothing better than Jack Bauer shouting approval when you reach a new checkpoint and burn out a gun nest with your flamethrower!

BONUS: By now you've heard of the unlockable Nazi Zombies level. When played with a group of friends, it is an addictive and fun addition. An excellent extra and one of my favorite parts of this game!

I can see this becoming the Madden franchise of online shooters - and as long as they don't rush one out every single year, Call of Duty can remain the standard by which all others are judged for some time.

Customer Reviews

Not the best of games
These are not probably the best of games you can get but since it is only more its worth it.

wii play sometimes
good as a tool to teach system controls. my son (6) enjoys the boxing most; my husband the no frills bowling.

Well worth it if you don't have four Wii Remotes already
Do you like Wii Sports? If so, you'll like this game (actually, a collection of games) too. Also, you get a Wii Remote along with the package. So basically you are buying another bunch of multiplayer Wii games and a Wii Remote. If that's what you want, this game is for you.

My favorite games:
- Laser Hockey
- Tank Battles
- Pool (9-ball)
- The shooting game

Just Fun....
I think that everybody that buy this game is only for the wiimote, but is fun to play it for a while....

Medicore Games--You Really Buy this for the WiiMote
WiiPlay feels more like a demo package for the WiiMote than the WiiSports game included in the Wii box--which is pretty demo-ish. Some of the games on WiiPlay are cute, but our experience was that they were only fun for a short period of time. Our favorite was the target shooting game--kids and adults both enjoyed shooting at the targets in a throwback to the classic Nintendo Duck Hunt game--and the game gets really crazy and fun at the end when your surprise visitors show up.

I gave this game four stars though, because its a great deal with the included WiiMote. A WiiMote is typically , so at , WiiPlay is basically a game added on to an additional remote. You'll definitely want four remotes, so why not get a bonus game while you're at it? For that reason, I would recommend WiiPlay to anyone buying a new Wii, or as an add on to people looking to buy extra WiiMotes.

I liked the fact that it did NOT use a USB port and a power switch on the front was nice until you realize you can not use your remotes to power it up anymore without leaving the thing on.

As other reviews have said it is LOUD. It does not get any less noisy with age. Mine has started to actually have the fan bearings start to go to the point you have to whack it to get them to stop when you first power it up.

Using this also made it impossible to disconnect the ethernet cable. This is easy to resolve by removing the unit, and then removing the cable, but putting it back on is not as easy and you must be careful or you break the PS3 casing.

I am not sure it does any more or less cooling of the PS3 than the built in fan does. I have never taken the temp of the machine, but the cabinet still gets hot and smells the same from time to time while playing. If you are interested in this I suggest finding something that makes less noise. It is hard to hear a blue-ray movie during quite parts with all the fans going on this thing.

Great Deal
The PS3 Intercooler is amazing I still find it hard to believe that this much technoligy was that cheep. It has 5 fans to move the air and moves the main power switch from the rear of the PS3 to the front. I would have paid the same amount for a switch kit (to move switch from rear to front) as I paid for the whole Intercooler, great bargan. I have read the reviews where people complain about the noise and I don't see the problem? I do hear the Intercooler hum (louder then the PS3) but unless you are playing with no sound, you should not notice it. I play with TV and Stereo on but not with room shaking volume.

Stone cold
This cooling fan is great, but do realize that you are adding fans so it will be louder. If you sit real close to your ps3 while playing it may be a little distracting but if you have a surround sound you won't tell much of a difference. Without any scientific numbers a can feel a difference in the temp. of the air coming out when the fans are on. It seems to be much cooler.

Intercooler
This Intercooler does not fit my PS3 the back is designed wrong and will not work with my PS3. I would like to know which PS3 this product would actually fit because ever PS3 I ahve seen is the exact same design as mine!?

PS 3 Intercooler,
This item is not up to what it should be. I makes too much noise during use.
That being said. Shame on Sony for making a product that needs this additional device. I have had to buy this just to cool the product so I could use it safely. Turning off the PS 3 without the intercooler is almost like cooking the electronics. A redesigned PS 3 or intercooler would be a marked improvement. I give both items a negitive feedback for it's cooling capacity and poor hardware design. The system does work other than that issue. Thanks for listening.

Customer Reviews

One word: Intense!
This is a non-stop action thrill ride from start to finish. They could have titled this game "Run and Gun" and given away the game play. Surprisingly enough this game actually does have a plot. It gives you enough reason to kill the people you need to kill.

It's kinda like a big summer action blockbuster. It won't win any awards, but will keep you entertained throughout. A year after its release the multi-player is almost non-existent.

If you're trying to decide whether to rent this game or buy it, the only reason I can recommend buying it is the price. You probably won't play through this game more than once or twice, and you can beat it in a weekend.

I haven't seen Hard Boiled (Two-Disc Ultimate Edition) but after playing this game I'm definitely going to check it out!

Fun but not everlasting
It's a fun game with great cutscenes and awsome game play, I loved it, the only drawback was that I beat it in a day and the replay value isn't the best, the only thing left to do was to unlock stuff for online, online play is okay, nothing great, all in all the I enjoyed the game.

A good idea strangled by control and pacing issues
Game Story:
A cop with a past (Tequila) finds that a escalating gang war has connections to a family that he thought he lost forever. To save his wife and daughter he must cross the line from cop to viglante in a one man war that will take him from the back streets of china to a history musem in chicago to the walled mansion and manicured garden's of china's top gang lord.
------(The following is based on my experience and since I'm reflex challenged the ratings should be taken in that context.)
Graphics:B+
Mostly realistic looking, some characters do look like they game out of the uncanny valley. The Slow motion effects are great as tequila bounces around the screen with slow mo bullets flying by his head. Also stuff does blow up real good and most of the eviroments are destructible.
Controls:C / Camera:B
The character didn't always dodge that shotgun blast I wanted him to no matter how much I pulled the trigger or in other cases would dive in some random completley useless direction that gave me absolutley no aim and the enemies a nice targe practice dummy to fire on. The crouch and cover controls are a little dectection wonky in some spots as the character would seem to rather take about a hundred bullets than crouch behind the chest high wall that was in front of him. I didn't have much trouble in this game with the camera but in some places it did have issues usually when a enemy was shooting off screen and was difficult to find.
Game Story/Progression/Difficulty:
There wasn't much story to this game besides the back story that gives a reason for all the shooting and blowing up that goes on. About the same with the stages. Your there to put as many holes in the stage and anything that moves on the stage as you can and to do it as stylishly as possible. The one thing I will say about the difficulty is that it can be like shooting fish in a barrel one second and then the game will throw a few waves of "special" foes at you that require special skills or head shots to take out and these points are usually at the worst time (health low/ammo low) or in one case in a ball room where you have to keep a band alive so you can't shoot everthing that moves for fear of having to restart. Also I must mention the very annoying circle shoot that comes up ocassionaly. One it's annoying and breaks the flow of the game and two in the later ones I just stopped bothering to shoot and dodged until the game gave up and let me bounce off walls again. It was just to hard to dodge and try to shoot while being stuck in one place.
Overall:
This wasn't a bad game. If your looking for somthing that just lets you shoot anything that moves and makes pretty good use of slo-mo then this might be the game for you if you can look past its rough edges.
If there is a sequel:
Get rid of the annoying circles of death that introduce new stages/rooms. Instead use one of those usually annoying button sequences. In this case it could be used to control moves that would be to difficult for players to pull off normally and would really put the slo-mo acrobatics to good use. If the sequence was done right then it would put the player at an advantage (less enemies). If done wrong then the player would start off in a bad spot or be outgunned and have to fight his way out.
m.a.c

interesting
i found this game in a bargain bin for 25 bucks an decided to pick it up i was actually really impressed the first hour or so playing it and really enjoyed it but after awhile there was just so much stuff goin on onscreen that i started to get a headache lol and i found the never having to reload kinda cheesy along with the endless amount of enemies flooding out of random doors a lil repetative but all in all i really enjoyed the action movie style stunts and destructable environments really fun theres just so much on screen commotion

Fun but ...
Stranglehold was fun to play but I found it too simple after playing for a few hours. I just wanted to get it over with. After completing Halo 3, Bioshock and Mass Effect I was looking for something to tide me over until the next "best" FPS came along. Stranglehold filled that spot.

I passed it along to my grandson. I think he will get a kick out of the slow motion and trick moves. It is rated "Mature" but I did not see anything that offensive, not like Gears of War anyway.
